PoE is no longer a game about fighting monsters. It's about dancing around secondary effects, with some monster-killing on the side.

I'm in this with you.

5 weeks back to WoW and no weapons! I've run 72 total m+ dungeons (47 of which can drop a weapon), and opened 5 weekly vaults. I'm 270 iLevel, still wearing 229 weapons. I need TWO. I find it frustrating that raid or PVP feels like a requirement to find weapons.

  1. Can we get like 15 more minutes per episode please

  2. And more than a £50 animation budget.

  3. I'm honestly surprised. It really isn't good.

  4. I actually genuinely wonder this sometimes. If Russia sent one nuke towards the US, would the US reliate and "get even" and that would be the end of it (minus two major cities)? Like would the U.S.' natural reaction be to blast every single nuclear weapon in Russia's direction if they were "only" sending one our way?

  5. America would launch everything they got. It wouldn't even be about the opposing nation or even retribution at that point. It would merely be a show of power to the rest of the world. America is itching for any excuse, tbh.

  6. Reddit in here pretending that mobs ever had any identity past the infancy stage of PoE.

  7. So, maybe the "Valve's DotA dev' Team" ...is Jeff & the frog :)

  8. I doubt Icefrog is taking a lead role on DotA 2 anymore. There has been a definite shift in design direction the past few years.

  9. Revert Archnemesis. It solved no problems, it's not more fun, revert it and bring the good game back, it's a simple solution and it's the best solution. Revert Archnemesis!

  10. Revert [insert league here]. It solved no problems, it's not more fun, revert it and bring the good game back, it's a simple solution and it's the best solution. Revert [insert league here]!

  11. It could have been, but the game needed to be slowed down first, and Reddit cried when GGG tried to do just that.

  12. Hey there 20captainx12! If you agree with someone else's comment, please leave an upvote instead of commenting "This."! By upvoting instead, the original comment will be pushed to the top and be more visible to others, which is even better! Thanks! :)

  13. The second to last picture is my favourite.

  14. So weird to me seeing dad's actually call their kid "son." To me that always seemed like something they do in movies to really drill the foundation of the two character's relationship. My dad has always called me "pal."

  15. Maybe because... it's fake, and he just mailed his own alt to farm Reddit points? The guy is apparently 18 years old, but also somehow a 29 year old marine.

  16. America has pretty much turned into an 24/7 IRL battle royale now.

  17. Wrong. People block content they don't want to do. It has nothing to do with Archnemesis mods.

  18. I love this skin so much, but it being from god damn lootboxes and essentially being $50 makes it impossible to justify.

  19. It's predatory, and ArenaNet should be more heavily scrutinised for it.

  20. Forsen should go out with a bang. One legendary last stream where he goatses his asshole right in front of the camera.

  21. The majority of the playerbase likes the new Archnemesis modifiers too for the most part. Don't let Reddit fool you into thinking otherwise.

  22. This is such an odly proportioned picture. Why are her arms so thin compared to the bulk of her body?

  23. Activision-Blizzard see that as +5 weeks of profits.

  24. The mod rework doesn't achieve the stated objective of being easily identifiable or making combat more engaging.

  25. By popular I mean enjoyed by the majority of people that play. PoE will always be second to Diablo.

  26. What? Progression and item accessibility has only gotten easier over time. People have Shaper on farm within their first week of the league now and are crafting belts with more stats than chestpieces from times past. They still are endgame bossfights like Shaper, it's just that GGG have added more endgame and side-content beyond that. Do you really expect to be killing Uber Maven within the same timescale? Maybe try gearing up past your "Shaper-farming" starter before that...

  27. 34 ex isn’t a lot for a chase unique lmao. People are only holding onto it because they think it’s getting buffed. At it’s current state inspired learning is just as good, if not better since it does the same thing and frees your belt slot in.

  28. You probably suck at making money if you think 34 ex is a lot lol

  29. RF and trapper are both count as a meta/op/strong build right?

  30. Any build Reddit isn't playing is a meta/op/strong build.

  31. Then you wasted ten seconds of your time, because a lesson that Reddit so repeatedly learns is that poe.ninja statistics aren't representitive of every skill and build that is viable in the game. You're picking out the very best of the best and ignoring the fifty other skills that people are farming endgame with.

  32. Better that the game gets harder than gets easier. This subforum won't be satisfied until it becomes nothing more than an auto-clicker, and thank the gods GGG aren't going that direction.

  33. Blizzards ui and communication of raid mechanics is terrible.

  34. Ironically, the same with Guild Wars 2. No combat addons needed either, even with the more complicated raid fights.
