Avatar 2 made 29 million the last couple days. I'm gonna guess 2.1 billion by Monday. That would also make it the 4th grossing movie ever. If it gets to 2.2 it will be the 3rd grossing movie ever. So after RS, say it opens at $40 after the 1/10 RS. I now have 10 times less shares. So the SP would have to get to $400 rather than the stock going to $40 if no RS. We would need incredible price movement to experience any substantial gains. I do not agree with the RS.
Your total investment isn't changed. $100 invested is $100 invested. Doesn't matter if it's in 1 share or 100 shares. Percentage increase/decrease from original purchase price is what matters.
Not sure if you haven’t realized it but it doesn’t matter if it’s HTB or how many shares are available to borrow. Why? Because they create shares out of thin air. Unless naked shorting is addressed, the RS isn’t going to do anything.
