News from Dougstoned

  1. Do you have any pics? Difficult to say what they are without seeing them, but they could be springtails or thrips.

  2. It’s hard because they’re small and move quickly but I’ll try this thanks. Unfortunately I don’t have anywhere to put them outside which is partly why I think they spread so much I can only isolate them so much. We’ll see. They already claimed a few of my plants that I’m just going to repot and pray for

  3. They're really defensive of the TERF wizard books, my comment caught the same flak

  4. I just don’t love fantasy period. Books movies shows. Same with LOTR. Most people who love it enough to have in their profile aren’t going to have similar tastes to me. you chose to highlight your love of a franchise or a corporate theme park/blockbuster movies etc over something that gives me more insight into your personality etc. (unless that is your personality)

  5. When I stopped drinking for only three weeks my good friend commented on how different my mood and energy was. I really felt it too. I was better able to get through the day, wake up early, and I had more energy and less brain fog. I wasn’t hungover so I always had motivation I typically wouldn’t have to do more. Physically my skin broke out about a week in. Don’t be alarmed if this happens to you. Apparently it’s hormonal and it eventually cleared up. I’m trying to drink less but also I’m trying to motivate myself to do another 4 weeks.

  6. I used to watch women’s boobs, then I’d tell myself that wasn’t okay and felt guilty hahaha

  7. Not knowing current fashion trends is one thing. Not being aware of major legislation that results in losing basic human rights is another. I couldn’t date someone who was that ignorant to major issues

  8. my favourite part is when he puts a sticker on the coloured girls' ass, marking her as his property while likening her to somebody's "stuff"

  9. Yknow what we also don’t do? Call people colored.

  10. I’m very cautious about traveling while black and a woman. I’m light skinned and probably pass as white to most non black folks but I’m not going anywhere where I hear stories like this. Thank you for sharing I’m sorry this happened.

  11. Yes. Always. I once had a man grab me from behind in a bear hug while walking home. He grabbed me so I couldn’t move my arms. Thankfully my friend was able to rip him off me. I always wonder what would have happened if not for her.

  12. I only avoid one political identity. Otherwise I’ll ask questions if we match because I try not to assume.

  13. End of vacation? Noooooooo, fake your own death and stay there forever 😆 🤣 I love that dress on you!!!

  14. Hope you had a wonderful time! Lovey pic ☺️

  15. No it’s not biphobic. I’m bi and i do the same thing. It lets me know they prefer men and or are looking for a boyfriend but open to sex with a woman and that’s not what I’m interested in.

  16. He made it REALLY clear when he said it’s impossible to find a man that would want to talk to you platonically. HMMMMM I guess he’s just the most special man in the world!! No man is writing (multiple) notebooks of letters to a woman that he does not have feelings for.

  17. Exactly. He gave himself away. His line of thinking is that men aren’t interested in platonic relationships with women? So doesn’t that out him as wanting more than friendship?

  18. I'd like to meet you and be your friend. Im very sexual. I love your sex drive. I'm willing to watch and let you get fucked in front of me for your pleasures. I'm single and hope you're interested. Doesn't have to last forever but I sant to start naughty life with you

  19. Yet you reply with 7 comments to my only 2 comments... of which are 3 now.. thank you for being a trash person who happens to be a lesbian. Btw, I'm gay myself.

  20. You wrote an essay psycho. Lol I’m not a lesbian and i doubt you’re gay. Nice try. Also cool response. Name calling? Are you in middle school?

  21. Is this something someone posted to troll me? What is “female clothing”? I’d love to know what exactly makes the men honestly answering these experts on fashion

  22. Who cares? I will get downvoted to hell for this Why do men always have to chime in on what women wear? To make us more insecure? I follow this sub because I like understanding and getting mens perspectives on things like mental health how I can be a better friend and sister. I see this post every few weeks and it’s exhausting. Men need to stop positioning everything women do to how turned on it makes them. We get it you don’t like “fake” women. Except I see how popular Instagram models are and they all have filters and fake lashes injections nails etc. We live in a culture/world that’s obsessed with the male gaze and shaming women who don’t fit into it. We’re just a bit tired of people scrutinizing everything we do.. it’s incredibly objectifying and degrading.

  23. I’ve gotten pregnant from a ripped condom after taking plan b. I’ve had a man try to stealth me. I’m never having sex with someone I don’t know and trust again and I’m never going without birth control. Getting my IUD replaced next year.

  24. I exercise every morning for 15 minutes to an hour. I invested in weights, a really nice exercise mat, resistance bands over the past 2 years. Movement allows me to have some time set aside for me to do something positive mentally/physically. I cook complicated meals on my days off for my work week. I let myself have days where I do absolutely nothing. I zero in on a project (cleaning, dying clothing, painting the apartment, fixing something broken) I wash my hair and do a hair mask with deep conditioner/aloe braid my hair and do a face mask, shave my legs and moisturize like crazy. I read. I drink a beer while drawing or doing a chore/task Also stretching! Got a foam roller and learned some stretches.
