Explain why cancelling $1,900,000,000,000 in student debt is a “handout”, but a $1,900,000,000,000 tax cut for rich people was a “stimulus”.

  1. It’s quite normal. My Android app so far has probably around 100 installs and I have it on Google Play for more than 1 year now. Unless you wanna spend beaucoup $$$ on advertising, you ain’t gonna get installs

  2. I have 2. Yes it’s hard (relationship! Etc) but definitely doable. Both (not just men) need to make major sacrifices in life, especially the “time to myself and do what I wanna do” part, to make not only the marriage but also family relationship a success. It’s definitely doable

  3. My reco: Java on Android first as you can fully develop a functional app with resources for StackOverflow. Was gonna port my UWP app to Android using Kotlin a few years ago but gave up and used Java primarily because of lack of Kotlin knowledge base/resources in StackOverflow at that time

  4. Well did you know Silicon Valley software engineers make a ton of money?

  5. 6 figure, yes. But half a million? I call BS on that. $250k is probably right for a lead/principle software engineer

  6. Man, I made too little while living in Silly Con valley before 2009. I’d be happy with $200k/year

  7. I’ve thought about this over a stroll this morning. Frankly, SCOTUS can only interpret the laws. Only Congress can make laws. If SCOTUS is reinterpreting Row v Wade, this does not mean that abortion is all of a sudden illegal in this country. Again, only Congress has the power to make, or in this case, ban abortion. And banning abortion is as good as taxing the rich/wealthy….you’re still gonna have loopholes (cough, cough…Canada/Mexico)

  8. LinkedIn houses the dumbest people on earth. It’s absolutely amazing.

  9. “Idiots make other idiots money”…. And hence there’s a profession called YouTubers 😉

  10. That’s the first thing I noticed too. That was a veiled comment, you only sell insurance (in Texas).. right?

  11. Not only that, but he’s gonna call her so that he can compare her policy with his current one 😉

  12. Me: sleep around 12:15am, wakes up between 9-10 am (kids are already in school) and log onto work. Easy peasy life

  13. Reese’s. Sorry but to me peanut butter and chocolate simply do NOT taste good TOGETHER

  14. So I guess we should provide all of our hard earn dollars to our government…100%, right?

  15. Definitely ignorant, but that is a type of subtle racism. Like asking an Asian where they're from or when they learned English. Oh, dude, you're from San Francisco born and raised? So where are your people from? It's not something white people tend to ask each other.

  16. Actually some white folks do discuss their racial makeups openly (e.g. half German, half Irish, etc). I really don’t see any issues of discussing race openly. It actually would foster understanding amongst those who otherwise would not understand each other. I myself am Taiwanese and do not mind folks for mistaken me as Chinese (my ancestors are from China…cannot deny that)

  17. I love #5. Been in the industry for 25+ years and nobody gave any crap about my alma mater. ‘Bout time

  18. Congrats on his bro making $400k/yr passively. I wish my Google app can make half (hell, even a quarter) that much with ad monetization. Sigh….
