The year is 2022, on linux I can: browse the internet, open steam, discord etc. as native clients, adjust my room ambient lightning, play a current AAA title with a 1 click-tweak, edit a YT vector thumbnail and record & edit a video. Never would have dreamt leaving windows would be this comfy.

  1. This post is 4 years old. Life happened. I'm a changed man now. I don't use windows. I use Pop!_os Linux now.

  2. ...are those using the energy for making imaginary coins?

  3. Why would you ever pay when literally the entire world has turned on you ( which is a good thing ) but im just saying.

  4. You can find the ip address of your umbrel from your router settings. Its generally at

  5. Is there any plan to integrate "sign up" but with LN-url scan? So sign in with a lightning message signature request via my node? Rather than an email addy and legacy web server stuff

  6. I've had it on radar for sometime but currently I'm not actively focused on it. I also have to learn and see how it'll work along side the existing system.

  9. Yes, they only use "=" once and it's as assignment?

  10. Yes. The correct symbol is ":=" for assignment but modern programming languages drop the colon and just use "=".

  11. The correct symbol in a language is whatever the language uses. It's laughable to claim that ":=" is correct when at best convention is split ("=" has been used by Fortran and C which are both 50+ years old). And as you said, modern languages often use "=" so if anything that's the much more common convention.

  12. I mean ":=" is correct symbol for assignment in math. CS branched from math so uses same terms.

  13. Hey just been on the site.I answered a few questions and the UI is good however I have doubt regarding the reward system. Is everyone rewarded because many answers can be found for the same question or is it First come first serve.

  14. Just like other QnA forums, the answer is accepted by the person asking the question. I've been thinking of adding a feature where if the OP disappears, the site will automatically reward the answer with most upvotes.

  15. Some time ago I answered a question on your site and I think I was rewarded. I haven't had the opportunity to check back in for quite some time, and I no longer know what my log in was. In my case, I hope the rewards have since gone back to you / the site pool. The reward was less valuable to me than actually helping people. I really like the idea and I hope it grows!
