News from HellfireMe

  1. If you'll allow an answer from AYITL, I HATED Rachel Ray's appearance. For someone who has been on TV and awful lot, she was painfully awkward for me to watch.

  2. Sneak into our room and freshen up, put on some nice lingerie, light candles and put on some nice music, and then I send a picture in said candlelit bedroom and lingerie.

  3. He MUST pull my hair every night after daddy gets off work and we are playing together. Seriously, nothing can distract him from his burning need to pull my hair at that time every single evening all week, and can become inconsolable when I tell him that we don't pull mommy's hair.

  4. I would recommend matching privately with some recipients through a site like National Registry for Adoption (nrfa). This is where I found my donors. It's somewhat like a dating site where everyone makes a profile and then you can message through the system. There are people there from every demographic, belief system, location, etc.

  5. I did the newborn course and did not find it helpful. They'll refund you if you ask for it within a certain timeframe.

  6. Mine was when a 20 something newlywed with no kids denied that diaper changes were frustrating, exclaiming "I've changed plenty of diapers!"

  7. "The only way to get through it is to go through it" and "he's not giving me a hard time, he's having a hard time" both helped me a lot.

  8. He got his first sponge bath and he’s a budding never nude who hates being exposed to air 🤣

  9. Haha oh my gosh! I thought all babies loved to be as naked as possible! 😅 Mine literally starts to chew on his sleeves like a dog when I dress him because he's so annoyed to he clothed!

  10. Pete the Cat Old McDonald Had a Farm. My LO wants me to read it like 4 or 5 times a day and it's just soooo loooonng.

  11. For me it's just the giggle. Ohh that giggle.

  12. When you do ivf, the embryos are not necessarily all one gender, so this seems rather farfetched to me.

  13. YTA. Paternity leave is meant for you to be with the baby, not go on vacation. Wtf?

  14. And let us not ignore the fact that OP is planning on leaving his wife with a newborn for two weeks to visit family. I literally cannot fathom if my husband had left that early on for even a few days after we had our son, let alone two weeks.

  15. Did she always do this? Asking for myself because my almost 12 month old only wakes up screaming bloody murder and I keep hoping he'll get past it 😅

  16. Same with my 11 month old and the only thing getting me through is reminding myself it’s temporary. Solidarity here. We will survive it!

  17. Haha it seriously sounds like we have the same kiddo! The day he finally learned to roll over around that time was a game changer for napping in the crib instead of on me!

  18. Well, honestly....take that another step. My baby is in just a diaper like 80% of the time 🙈

  19. Yes, this exactly. It's the tenderly gazing into one another eyes and then openly laughing at the distress they just caused that just made me feel so squeamish when I watched this.

  20. I’ve tried for years to lose baby weight with no result.

  21. Would you be willing to share what kind? I have an autoimmune disease and am incredibly weight loss resistant and very very prone to gaining. The things people do to lose weight is what it takes for me just to maintain my weight, and I am beyond discouraged after three years and a small fortune on different doctors and tests and diets and gym memberships.

  23. I still remember video chatting with a friends daughter right after her 4th birthday, and I asked her what she got, and she said "I got a makeup fort!!!" Instead of vanity and I now refuse to call it anything else 😂

  24. IMO this isn’t a gift for him. This would be a great idea for Valentines Day or an anniversary though.

  25. Thanks! He has actually bought me things from his own fun money before as a surprise so I wasn't sure what was reasonable!

  26. My husband and I are getting ready for another embryo transfer. We went to our saline sonogram appointment while my mom watched our LO, and we actually left early enough that we got coffee on the way. I actually told the tech it was like a nice little getaway as she was doing the ultrasound. She seemed to think that was kind of pathetic 🤣

  27. That's fantastic! But I'm hung up on the part where your mom thinks oregano and basil are too spicy...

  28. Seriously! I made a zucchini soup the other day for some friends that was literally just garlic, onion, zucchini, chicken stock, salt, and pepper, and my friend kept asking me why it was spicy?!?
