  1. You sound like you are experiencing burnout, it comes with working taking away your energy.

  2. The biggest thing is to practice constructing basic sentences etc. to get used to it. also consuming Japanese media so you can hear native speakers.

  3. Shooting trash to the sun isn’t even feasible - something about the gravity wells and paths a rocket would have to take to get it to the sun makes it very expensive fuel wise

  4. It is extremely difficult to actually send something into the sun due to how gravity works, nasa posted about it recently iirc

  5. Lundberg family farms modeled their agricultural practices on the late great Masanobu Fukuoaka's "Natural Farming" approach to rice cultivation. All straw after harvest is saved and thrown haphazardly back into the fields. From there, "seed balls" of clay, compost, and clover or rice seed is scattered amidst the straw. When the rain comes and breaks down the seed balls, germination begins. At a certain stage when weeds are beginning to outcompete rice, the fields are flooded briefly, just enough to kill the weeds but not allow mosquitoes to breed in large amounts. The rice survives and with no other inputs to the soil is brought to harvest.

  6. There was an interview with a bodybuilder where he said that massive muscles do not equal health. On the contrary. Just like fat, muscle squeezes organs in unhealthy ways too. you can be 6 foot, 250lbs fat or muscular, and your heart won't enjoy either.

  7. Muscle squeezing organs... kind of wanting to know more details, because I want to work out for health purposes

  8. Also, if you don't know the audience, and you can't get any insider direction on what to bring, play the meta. Don't show up with mussels meuniere to a cookout like I did that one fucking time. Show up with tater salad, beer, or some red meat.

  9. As someone allergic to alliums (onions/garlic), I just deal with the “hot static” in my mouth and swelling tongue/throat, but this would be helpful so I know to not eat a lot. (I still eat alliums, they’re delicious and I haven’t died yet)

  10. I started writing reviews for things when I realised that I actually relied heavily on reviews for items before I buy them.

  11. Exactly! I kind of started doing reviews after realizing just how important they were to my stuff. Most people don't write reviews unfortunately

  12. This lifeprotip right here! I once saw someone do something like this, instantly dropped my opinion on them to negative ten

  13. People like to rant about how Tom Nook is greedy capitalist scum but seriously, interest free loans with no payment schedule? Sign me up!

  14. haha, It's true that everyone has an exclusive way of eating pizza.

  15. Oh, no... I can't suffer pizza without any top! It sounds unbearable

  16. So far I have about two thirds of the base set holos (first edition, fossil, jungle). So my collecting has slowed while I wait for someone to post the remaining ones I need.

  17. oof, hate when that happens, have you messaged any other people that are taking the jlpt with you?

  18. There is a card in Magic the Gathering that made you play a game of Magic the Gathering within the same game. It’s an old card and banned in every format today but it’s one of the coolest cards in all of MtG history.

  19. The findable retro game cartridges in Timesplitters 2- Lunar Lander, Snake, and a little car racing game. Also Mario Party 4 had a fun sidegame about building and fighting vehicles that I spent more time with than the main game.

  20. Another timesplitters 2 fan!!!! I think I had more playtime on the minigames than the story itself

  21. You took mine too. I thought he was American.
