I hate where I'm at in my life, but I'm terrified by the thought of changing anything. I'm so unhappy, but at least that's consistent. I know there are very simple things I could do to improve my life, but I can never find the courage or confidence to do those things. I know exactly what I need to do. Whenever I think about trying to do those things, I start feeling ill and feverish and I can't do anything. It's like someone is holding a winning lottery ticket out in front of me and all I have to do is grab it, but I'm too worried that I'll fuck it up somehow and lose everything. What do I even have to lose? I don't know. I want to do something; anything. But I'm too much of a fucking coward. I hate it. I hate that I don't have the guts to do anything. I just sit here with my stomach in a knot, telling myself "you'll have the confidence tomorrow." It's always tomorrow, so here I am, forever sitting in my room.
