Our circa 1896 home. I just found this sub and wanted to share. Not a registered historic home so free to try this modern take on exterior paint. Most love, some hate. We love!

Long-distance swimmer Gertrude Ederle. In 1926, she became the first woman to swim the English Channel, beating the best time of previous men's crossings by two hours. She died at 98 in 2003, after a life teaching fellow deaf swimmers. [2660 x 4236]

It's been wild since 2016 my dude.
I fear you haven’t seen anything yet.
Protesting gets attention, and that gets people interested enough to vote. Protests by themselves do not cause things to change.
Ugg yes thank you. For some reason I thought the song had like thumps an creaks in it.
It does! There are more sound effects than just the snapping of fingers.
Careful now.
Why?
If you really believe giant cold blooded lizards can magically transform into warm blooded birds I have a bridge to sell you.
You might pick up a recent science textbook that deals with paleontology. Or even just look it up on google.
That's the two wheels down sign just about everywhere. That doesn't sound right.
And I have around 50000km of riding in Canada and see it every day.
Exactly. It's common where you are and you see it all the time!
You need to put the cover back on and bleed the line 👌
Not true in this case. The cover has no effect with bleeding brakes except preventing splashing.
You can see fluid coming up as he squeezes. If the cap was on, all the fluid gets pushed down. Cap off, fluid escapes its first available and easiest point. The cap off is leaving a gate wide open
Sorry, you're wrong on this one.
Adam Sandler saw Shaq's dick.
That was beautiful.
Bio-robots.
The term bio-robots was decided to be inappropriate. We now refer to them as ‘interns.’
I have two milkweed plants in my small urban beach garden. Saw a a few monarchs the other day!
Woo-hoo! Keep it up!!
How many were convicted?
From the article:
Thanks and my bad. What I meant was how many got jail time?
You should go read the article. If you still have questions, do some research.
"How many sharpies can she fit into her butt?"
"Fortunately, we have known his identity for some time, and-"
That was brilliant. :-)
Yeah, little bit of a rug pull. I'm happy you enjoyed it though. I'll take that comment for a boost on a Monday at work!
Many of us enjoyed it. Thanks!
“Hey babe, have you seen the vacuum cleaner?” I called out from the closet.
The last line of your story was magic. Thank you.
"Narrators?" I asked, confused. "What're you talking about?"
I enjoyed that. Thanks!
I was ecstatic discovering my superpower and since it seemed absolute I asked a obvious question any superhero would.
Oh, I LIKE this.
But... it burns twice as bright.
Moths to a flame...
Very many years ago I was a young sailor in the Canadian navy. A group of buddies and I were ashore in San Juan and went to a bar... surprise. Turns out Liberace was playing... none of us had any idea who he was. He bought us all a drink, wished us well and that was that.
Awfully cool.
Groovy even.
Figured you did, I elaborated for everyone else. 😊
Speaking for myself and everyone else, we appreciate it. :-)
Is that the wrench that's attached to these big cylinder thingies with pressure gauges?
That’s the one.
Or she could just be a good mom and is giving her lesser known son some time in the spotlight for a smaller audience. Gently suggesting, that while she cares for Ryan just as much, he’s not the only member of the family.
I like the way you think
That's cali!? Where/when?
This one isn’t in California, it was in Cleveland, Ohio on Friday.
Happened Friday night. Someone apparently tossed a cig out the window and it caught the mulch on fire.
I downvoted you thinking it was in Cali as others reported, then came back to upvote you instead.
Michael, what are some of your favorite foods?
Haha I often eat sardines and eggs. Not the glamorous answer some might give. But I love skinned and boneless sardines with tomatoes, avocado and legume based pasta :)
That sounds amazing in pasta.
Yea I’ve always loved the Roisen’s Thorns. Super nice looking and effective as hell when you’re playing to its strengths.
It’s hands-down my favorite weapon to use in the early game. It’s wonderful.
You have no idea wtf you’re talking about. Haven’t you seen the structural pillars on a bridge full of stuffed toys? Or old clothing? There’s plenty of famous examples, you’re just ignorant. Or a wumao.
Do you have any reputable links? Because if you do I’m interested.
It's a problem in any country who buys from China. We have classes monthly at work on procuring parts and spotting counterfeit ones from China
What industry?
Serious question. Did she ever develop any issues with her skin? My dad still tans hard core and he’s almost 80. No sunscreen. No issues.
Not every heavy-tanning person develops melanoma and dies. Just a shocking it high percentage of them compared to non heavy-tanners.
In Ederle's case, the swimming mattered to her deafness. She suffered hearing loss due to childhood measles. Doctors told her that endurance swimming could worsen it. She persisted, and her deafness increased.
Yikes!
