It's local election season in the US! Make your voice heard in state and local elections.

How cat-tastic!

All in favor, raise a paw.

Shows the Silver Award... and that's it.

  1. Lunch meat. It actually has a super high correlation with colorectal cancer.

  2. The blood vial system in Bloodborne. I hate grinding for healing items.

  3. Just play on easy for your first few times. It's still hard but it's a lot less frustrating. Also with the way the game is designed, there really is no 'losing'. You just might not get an outcome you are happy with.

  4. Just my opinion but after playing it a few times, the gameplay was fun but there was a bit of a disconnect between the point system and what your goal seems to be throughout the game. That kind of turned me off of it a bit.

  5. The first thing that comes to mind is Anne Hathaway in Les Miserables.

  6. Fun fact: Pretty much any function you can think of can be approximated by a really long polynomial! This is why polynomials are so important and powerful in subjects like calculus.

  7. To be more precises: The polynomials lie dense in the space of continous functions over compact intervals with respect to the maximum norm. The proof can be done in an elemantary fashion constructiing the proper Bernstein polynomial.

  8. I mean, yes but I figured OP wouldn't understand that.

  9. A lot of people in the comments are saying don't get rid of Algebra 2 as it helps with problem solving skills and also with a lot of other subjects such as finance, biology, physics, etc. I completely agree, but I also think there are a lot of topics in Algebra 2 which are redundant or not useful/interesting. I think a better solution would be to consolidate Algebra 1 and 2, and get rid of a few topics such as graphing certain types of functions. Then there would be room for another class on financial literacy which would build on the topics taught in Algebra and include things like exponential growth/compound interest.

  10. Parks is the better game, as it has more strategy and depth. Parks works better at 3 players, while Trails works better at 2. If you are looking for a shorter, lighter game for 2 players, Trails is the way to go. Otherwise, I would go with Parks.

  11. For simple deck builders I would recommend Dominion, Ascension, or Shards of Infinity.

  12. Bojack Horseman has a lot of good ones. The use of alliteration or the three kids in a trenchcoat for example.

  13. I know I am probably in the minority here but I actually liked part 2 better than part 1. It's actually in my top 10 games of all time. Be ready for an emotional rollercoaster. The writing and acting is so good!

  14. Grand Theft Auto V. It just doesn't seem to appeal to me.

  15. Subnautica. That game is sneakily terrifying.

  16. 100% Celeste. It is literally a story about anxiety/depression and is my absolute favorite game.

  17. Nightmare King Grimm in Hollow Knight.
