  1. I feel lucky that I know not to click on either of these, I will not make the same mistakes as others have before me.

  2. If you didn't play brutal and realistic games when you were a kid, then you didn't get a childhood

  3. My parents restricted pretty much everything I played and/or watched and I feel like I missed out on so much on so many levels

  4. that's just FedEx, don't worry about it.

  5. Sweet god, does this mean I can finally use a controller for HL1??

  6. Because I'm a sick fuck. And because I grew up playing HL1 on PS2.

  7. Alright, alright, fair enough. I'm gonna invest in a PS2 at some point and Half-Life is gonna be one of my first purchases.

  8. How's playing older games even childish? I want to know this guy's thought process lol

  9. I’ve got this one too! I’ve seen them live 5 times.

  10. I would've loved to see them live, although I don't know if I'll get the chance to anymore. I need to go see more people live.

  11. I hear ya. I’m a huge fan of live music. Crowds, not so much. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to have one without the other.

  12. Yeah, when I went to Shaky Knees this year, it was my first time seeing live music. That Green Day set was insane. And the place was packed.

  13. My computer was crap by today's standards (still is), so I played a lot of these games. Even when I was able to use my brother's computer with a GTX 970 and an i5-10900k, I still bought Unreal and Quake 3. I've also been using an Xbox 360 for most of my life. Do I like the newer graphics? In some cases, yes. Games like Forza Horizon 5 are absolutely stunning. But am I going to pretend like they're the only option? No. These older games have unique gameplay and ideas put into them, and I value that in a game over its graphics. Hell, in a lot of cases the older graphics are very charming and have a unique, nice style. I have a friend who likes to say that older games don't hold up because the graphics aren't up to today's standards and only thrive off of nostalgia. I'm an '07 Gen Z and played Half-Life for the first time about two years ago. I had no nostalgia whatsoever, but I fucking loved the game. As I do with plenty of other older games. It's really disappointing how hard it is to find people my age anymore who will actually respect older games and media, instead of just complaining about them because they don't have 4K HDR support with ray tracing. God, shit like that makes me mad.

  14. Holy shit. I like how the guy also acknowledges how he's done this other moron in and just straight up points it out. Guy's never gonna recover from that.

  15. Oooooh, I didn't know they pressed these. I'll have to see if I can find one of these albums. That's so cool.

  16. I gathered after looking today. Maybe they'll repress it. I'll definitely pick one up if they do, but I'm not paying upwards of 200 dollars for one, lol.

  17. I started collecting last year and only got a table in Feb this year. Ever since I got it, my daughter has been fascinated with it. I've taught her how to set it up, how to look after both it and records, and we've both been enjoying listening to it when she comes to visit me.

  18. Forgive me for not knowing the band, but I'm curious what type of music they make. I'm interested in checking them out.

  19. They’re all over the place, each album sounds completely different that the others. They’re primarily prog rock.

  20. True Crime stuff has always been a little interesting to me, but I hate how shitty some people are about it. Do some people just not have the common human decency to leave the friends and families of victims alone? Or perhaps it's a lack of mental capacity to empathise and think before they try to disallow these people from moving on. It sickens me terribly and almost makes me ashamed for even being interested in the genre. I can't say a whole lot about specific programs (I've only seen a few episodes of a show I forgot the name of) but it's horrible how many people prevent these victims' friends and families from moving on.

  21. Hi guys, first and foremost, removing the Quest guardian is not safe and neither is using your Quest outside. So don't do this at home !

  22. I don't use my Guardian boundary unless I'm in Gorilla Tag. I feel like it's fine if more experienced users disable their Guardian because they will generally know their play space more and are able to subconsciously stay away from hitting stuff. Maybe it's just me, but I think I may have hit one or two things without Guardian in my six months or so span of not using it

  23. how do you not use the boundry? As far as I can tell it only has two modes, "boundry" and "stationary" stationary just makes the boundry into a small circle.

  24. Enabling Developer Mode allows you to go into, if I recall correctly, System > Developer > and flip a switch to toggle your Guardian boundary.

  25. What a great song, what a great album. I can't say I was there when it came out, but when I downloaded the album for the first time, I absolutely loved it and I still do.

  26. I love his content, as we all do, but if he needs time off I don't have an issue with it. If he wants to have some time to work on his personal life, that's not a problem. I was just looking for where he was the other day, but I'm happy that he's doing something that he feels is important. I love his content, but I would much rather he and his friends and family be happy spending time with him than me by watching him. I'm also glad he reached out to let people know what was going on, as there were probably people who were getting pretty worried. I'm glad he's taking the time off he needs to be happy and have fun, and I'm also very excited for the new projects. Regardless, I hope he means it when he says "see you soon!" because I am very much anticipating what he has planned for us next!
