News from anothercar

  1. San Diego is substantially safer than SF.

  2. For freeway speed, just drive roughly the same speed as everyone else. Don't worry about the specific speed limit on the signs.

  3. Easiest solution: take it to a car detailing shop, they'll clean it up quick

  4. Portable heaters use a monstrous amount of electricity.

  5. Orange Line is perfectly safe for bringing luggage. Then store bags in the Met Lounge. Have a great trip!

  6. I hope they add Obama to Mt. Rushmore someday

  7. I think the closest reasonable thing you can do is work as a shuttle bus driver on your community college campus. Close to school, willing to work around your class schedule, etc.

  8. I agree with you. I don’t think the intention is useless or the practice of due diligence. Just the current state of things labeled “ESG”. Like TSLA being a part of ESG funds

  9. Tesla sells solar panels, seems like a fair choice for ESG to me

  10. Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

  11. Best picture of SD, aka least homeless? Stick to La Jolla, UTC mall (which is super bougie now), Del Mar, Little Italy, Coronado, Solana Beach/Cedros. Cabrillo National Monument is great. There's a little food hall in Liberty Station which is nice to walk around. One Paseo is a nice little outdoor shopping plaza for someone coming from a town of 20k. Desserts at Extraordinary Desserts. Definitely hit up Balboa Park and the Zoo, and do the Seven Bridges Hike. Japanese Friendship Garden is excellent as always. And of course, gotta do the Torrey Pines hike.

  12. I've pushed a wheelchair around the SD zoo before. It's very doable and quite fun.

  13. Where are you listing stuff? I'd cross-post and make sure things are listed on eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, and DePop. Not just one of them.

  14. Tuesday Between 4-6? So what are these protesters? Unemployed, retired, or rich?

  15. Also.... students, people with flexible schedules, people who work 8-4 instead of 9-5, self-employed, people who take a day off, people who take an afternoon off, people who work third shift, people who work evenings, people who work-from-home and won't be noticed if they end the workday an hour early, business owners who set their own hours, etc.

  16. My guess is to get in the news, show solidarity with protesters on the other coast, etc.

  17. wait really? No one in san diego does braces repair?

  18. Based on the title, figured you wanted it done cheap
