  1. Don’t do this to yourself- top rack dishwasher fam. They’ll be fine and more clean/sterile than you’ll ever get them yourself.

  2. OP your feelings are soooo valid- being a NICU parent is tough. Question- is there a social worker at the hospital you could speak to or can you ask if they have access to free therapy resources? Talking to somebody won’t make it easier to be apart from your baby, but they can at least help you process through these big overwhelming feelings you’re experiencing right now, and that can at least help it feel better even though it sucks. It won’t always be like this- it gets so much better, I promise. But what you’re going through right now is hard- try to take care of yourself so that you can best take care of your little one.

  3. Honestly, this is a super tough one almost every NICU baby goes through. For most babies its also super quick once it 'clicks'. As in, you go from a stall for a couple weeks, then suddenly you're ready for discharge in 48 hours lol. That being said - I would say our little guy who was 31+5 and in the NICU for about 39 days, it took about 2-3 weeks. He literally jumped from 50% feeds to 100% overnight. Its both amazing, and an emotional rollercoaster. The good news is once it happens, you should be going home really fast! :D

  4. Seconding this. My son’s stay was only two weeks (born 34w) but he had the hardest time feeding at first- it felt like it was going to take forever. Then around day 11 or 12, that brain development just kicked in and it was like a switch flipped. Every baby is different but I promise that day will come soon and before you know it that tiny little human will be draining bottles like a champ. Hang in there, parents! 💙

  5. CEO of the National Institute for the Prevention and Suppression in Education

  6. Ok so not a Bilt card specifically but both my wife and I were victims of BIN attacks on our Wells Fargo debit cards. We never used them- only had this account as a backup and still somehow ended up with fraudulent charges despite never having activated or used the cards. This was a few months ago. WF seemed quite mystified by that situation at the time but were able to reimburse us for the charges. WF definitely needs to re-examine their numbering algorithms for all of their products.

  7. OP, please call 1-800-799-7233 or text START to 88788. These are the numbers for the national domestic violence hotline. Abuse isn’t always physical. Please seek help for the sake of yourself and your son. You don’t deserve to be treated this way. ❤️

  8. I remember watching this when it happened in total disbelief… like “Umm… is this how normal war reporting works? Like just hiding (not very well) behind the corner of a building 20 yards away? Surely not… right?” It’s STILL wild to rewatch that almost a year later.

  9. Wouldn’t the water spewing out of the top defeat the purpose of the filter and also make this not a perfect fit?

  10. For real, this is going to destroy OP’s eyes every time he plays. Those things are BRIGHT.

  11. ugh i enjoyed the intellibed so much but that price tag is insane!! but my back pain is still there so maybe it’s in my future

  12. The deal that they offered me was substantially less than the sticker price. Still high, but not outrageous. I know it’s probably still out of some people’s price range but with financing it’s only $101 a month (granted, for a few years).

  13. Interesting to note that Purple recently purchase Intellibed.

  14. Yeah I saw that. It seems like they’ll be making Intellibed more of a “premium option” expansion to their line… as long as they still honor the 20 year warranty I’m cool with it! Lol

  15. In case it is helpful for anyone else who comes across this - I can confirm that steps above worked. I used the phone number and options given above, and I was able to request two new breakers. The representative had to put me on hold for a few minutes to check some things (I don't know what), but other than that, it wasn't much trouble. I received the replacements in a few days.

  16. I have received both shipments of my breakers as of today! One box of 15W and another of 20W. Stop paying for your faulty Eaton breakers and give them a call!

  17. You’re very welcome! Glad they could help you out, and I trust that they would make good on that offer if it ever comes to it. Happy I could help!

  18. My mom had a hiatal hernia that she only discovered when pregnant with me. She lived on Gavascon and Mylanta and her doctor told her she could take up to four times the normal dose. Consult your doc of course, but there are at least some options out there.

  19. Hey OP! Just chiming in to echo what others have said. What you’re experiencing is so much more common than anyone realizes. My wife dealt with the same thing. We decided that pumping/breastfeeding was not right for her due to the physical and mental strain on her body. Zoloft and stopping pumping were game changers for her. Our little dude was formula-fed and even as a preemie caught up on all of his growth and is a happy, healthy, well-adjusted toddler. Your hormones are telling you lies right now- I promise that staying is so worth it. Do it for yourself, your baby, and your family. Momming is hard in general, but it’s so much harder in those first three months. Things will get better with time, but that doesnt mean you have to suffer until then. Please call your OB, find a therapist or other postpartum support groups. The world is better with you in it!

  20. No such thing as a bad set for starters! If you’re having fun, then it’s doing it’s job! Bless you and enjoy this new dive into music. I started drumming 15 years ago tomorrow when I was 13 years old and it has been such a fulfilling part of my life. Still have a huge drum set and love to play when I can. Seeing posts like yours remind me of that fiery love I felt for drums in the first place. I’m excited for you!

  21. There appears to be enough evidence for a RICO prosecution. More than enough. Question becomes is there enough spine in the GA prosecutor?

  22. She hasn’t pulled any punches so far, but I too will believe it when I see it.

  23. This grand jury investigation is consequential in spades. The hard evidence is undeniable of felony offenses. Could GA be the first to drop a felony indictment(s) of Trump and perhaps his accomplices?

  24. In the not too distant past, Fani Willis said we could see indictments this month. That seems less likely as we approach the end of the month but I would think January could be a very interesting month indeed.

  25. I’m saving up for the TD-27KV2. Great choice! I agree that it’s probably the best value of quality for price on the market right now. 👍🏼

  26. Just wanna point out that you can't buy mint tea instead. I accidentally bought that and it makes me super bloated, so gotta find that peppermint tea.

  27. I was today years old when I learned that mint is not synonymous with peppermint 😳

  28. The last batch was just in between a bunch of random crap in storage, by my understanding. It was more lost than hidden.

  29. I imagine that’s the case for a lot of the remaining files. Problem is that it’s illegal regardless of if it was negligence or malice. Should have never had them to have the ability to lose them in the first place.

  30. everything feels kinda odd right now, and nothing feels real to me. my family and people in my community have been amazing and supportive

  31. I think that’s an incredibly normal way to feel in your situation. I hope it is dissociative in a pleasant way, not an unsettling one. I’m so glad you have a good support system.

  32. Is that due to the psychological state, or is it due to the symptoms, or perhaps a combination of both.

  33. Having had a different and less severe brain tumor around OP’s age, from my experience I would say a bit of both. Having something in your brain that isn’t supposed to be there not only interferes with its functioning- it’s the awareness of that that can mess with your mind too.
