  1. It'd be a little easier to take seriously if those same people didn't constantly oppose any kind of support for mental health while also fostering the kind of culture that garners zero respect for gun safety.

  2. I'm super-pro more lowrise housing, but man I'd love it if it wasn't build like a popsicle stick house. How do the eurpean lowrises manage that? Are they just built better so that you can't hear every move that all 8 of your neighbors are making? Or are people from the Netherlands just inherently less loud than living next to Americans?

  3. If you want a laptop buy a laptop. The problem is that a lot of people, myself in the past included, buy gaming laptops for bad reasons and regret it after making the expensive mistake.

  4. I've said it before and I'll say it again, 1408 is the best execution of "lovecraftian" themes.

  5. You're very physically uncomfortable 100% of the time.

  6. I've been on/off following your channel for like a year because I was impressed by how well produced the videos were right from the start. So, yeah... keep up the good work The vs. idea seems like a good schtick.

  7. I've built a functional crawler crane the size of an entire level, but making a really functional, large trebuchet is still somewhat-ironically one of the hardest things to do in beseige vanilla.

  8. While I still try and find horror movies that scare me, if anything the ones that aren't overtly scary tend to be better I think. The ones that try and rely solely on being scary as their one note often fail (in my opinion, not necessarily financially or on scores) because I wasn't going to be scared anyway, so I prefer a generally good movie that happens to have some scary elements and a a creepy tone because I enjoy that atmosphere, rather than constant attempts at being scary.

  9. The premise was incredibly stupid, but the basement parts at the end were pretty scary in isolation.

  10. Depends on the person of course. I've been in the situation where the person wants to 'explore' but still keep me around, because they love me of course. Fuck that noise! It's one thing if you go into a relationship knowing it's open, it's completely different if you're in a committed relationship that's suddenly split wide-open without your consent. I left.

  11. I think everyone deserves a proper place to call home yes. I dont think we should normalize these situations, because its always a run to the bottom.

  12. From your comments I'm not sure whether you're trying to suggest that people shouldn't want to live like this, or that the state of housing in NA that is causing this to look appealing is the issue.

  13. This reminds me of the Bigoted Bill sketch. It's even also a song.

  14. Just imagine all the power in those mitochondria...

  15. The X7s are really good beginner arrows, especially indoors/shorter-distances. You get a tiny bit of a scoring benefit from the shafts being pretty wide too. I remember Brady Ellison was shooting them at 18m in a tournament once, so I wouldn't worry too much about them being aluminum unless you're starting out shooting like 70m.

  16. Can't wait for him to build an entire gothic cathedral.

  17. I'll go to hell before I stoop down to the level of convincing Nazeem to forgive me.

  18. Where does the power from a automatic weapon come from? Is it the magazine? Anyone think that an electric powered motor has any value in combat? Maybe only if a turret on a power source?

  19. I'm not sure what you mean exactly. Like, what makes the gun cycle automatically? The power comes from the expanding gasses in the cartridge being routed backwards to cycle the bolt carrier, or sometimes just the recoil of the round being fired.

  20. Haha, I could fuck up my PC worse than any virus possibly could, so who's really in charge?

  21. I don't know how, but I got it right on the first try and I don't even know anything about the series other than it exists.

  22. Honestly, for a kid a gaming laptop is a good choice since you don't really need to max out specs and you can use it to play at friends' houses, school, etc.

  23. I disagree unless the laptop is unrelated to school. A 'gaming laptop' is never a good option if you need to carry it around with you all day for the majority of your real use. The best you can hope for is a laptop that's relatively small and light that has good battery life, and can maybe still do some gaming in a pinch but shouldn't factor too much into a school laptop decision imo.

  24. After the point of becoming invested in the story, even if it's bad I still feel like giving it a shot to fairly redeem itself, and/or at least find out what happens. There are only 2 shows I've watched that I just entirely don't like, but boy lemme tell you how MUCH I dislike them...
