  1. Men can suffer from post pregnancy or life change type depression - could it be something like this? My husband found it hard after our second baby was born. He pulled his weight still but definitely struggled for a bit mentally.

  2. Yes! Men can get postpartum depression too! My husband struggled for a bit too

  3. My kiddo and I have quiet independent time in the afternoon. We go in our rooms and do our own thing. I often read or watch a show and kiddo goes in his room and plays, “reads” sometimes he takes a nap.

  4. If he’s eating and drinking normally I wouldn’t worry. He should be phasing out of daytime naps soonish,

  5. Okay thanks! I’ll keep a close eye on things tomorrow and see how he does.

  6. No judgement from me. You have to decide what is best for you and yours. Your body your choice.

  7. I think it’s definitely possible she could have adhd or something like that as well as being the narcissistic AH that she is.

  8. ADHD is no excuse for not caring for your children. I have ADHD and so does my husband but we’ve never done the things Ruby has.

  9. Hello, I am back here to say that this morning I read this reply immediately after getting in a fight with my own narcissistic AH parent and due to being very emotionally charged already and overtired, I responded with a LOT of unnecessary anger, and I apologize for that. I was already tense and having it be implied that I was attempting to excuse an abuser (which I wasn’t doing) made me lose it a little bit… especially because my own abusive narcissistic AH has ADHD and uses it against me all the time to dismiss any struggles I have because of my ADHD.

  10. Hey, we all have bad days and moments. I sometimes project my anger where it shouldn’t be too. Thank you for the apology.

  11. Not that this is something you’d have the foresight to do before an emergency, and I’m not trying to encourage a bunch of dials to 911 - but just an FYI for everyone, if you ever have the suspicion that your 911 service doesn’t work, you won’t get in trouble for calling them to test. Just make sure you wait for someone to pick up and tell them “I am just testing my 911 service”, because if you hang up, they will call you back.

  12. I did this when we moved to a new part of the country. The person that answered was very nice. They made sure that was all I needed and the phone call was done :)

  13. My husband and I have this set and we use at least one piece every day! It’s perfect! Cast is pretty much all we own aside from a large soup pot and a small sauce pot. We have a big enameled cast Dutch oven as well

  14. Hi I’m sorry for such a late reply! It is the Boker kalishnakov. It is called the ‘DESSERT WARRIOR’ variation and is a limited color release from blade HQ. They do yearly releases for them!

  15. Thanks so much! No worries on the late reply. I’m only on so often anyway :)

  16. Most men in LDS serve a mission when they graduate highschool. But I do think you can go to college for a bit and then Serve a mission. I believe Branson Tannerite served his later in life (I think he started serving when he first graduated but was sent home then reserved a few years later).

  17. I’m a member of The Church oh Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Some young people choose to serve a mission after they have completed college. Some also don’t serve for a variety of reasons. It depends. I hope this helps.

  18. And you have to be 18 to go which is probably why he is taking some college classes before going, if he is going

  19. Correct!! I have many friends that attended college for a few years, left school for their mission and went back. So there are ways to make it work.

  20. My husband and I have a seven year age gap (married when I was 23 and he was 30), so I don't think anything is weird with your relationship, but I do think it's weird that your being so nonchalant about her sabotaging your BC. BC tampering is abuse.

  21. Hi OP, felt the need to comment cause I was in the EXACT same situation as you only 5 months ago. I did end up terminating the pregnancy (w/ the pills.) I was soo nervous at the time but the process was very simple and quick, all I had to do was call planned parenthood and book the appointment and I was in the clinic a little over a week later. I’m in NY so I’m not quite sure how it works in Georgia but I know there are plenty of women around the USA offering a place to stay for a couple nights if you need to travel or I’ve also heard you can get the pills online. Not sure how but hopefully someone more knowledgeable then me will. Not saying this to sway you in that direction but I know this is what I needed to hear at the time, either way the choice is 100% up to you and you will be the one birthing and caring for this child so don’t let anyone or any outside influences make you question yourself. Stay strong and hope all works out for you!

  22. Likely seasonal allergies but it could be something else. The vet would be able to advise on how to proceed.

  23. Seriously, reminds me when people push wheelchair users without asking (which is obviously not okay!)

  24. This happens to me all the time!! I love when people kindly ask how they can help if I’m visibly struggling with something. I was at the airport with kiddo and hubs, hubs had bags I had kiddo on my lap along with my backpack on my back. A very kind lady came up to us and asked if she could help. That’s how it’s done.

  25. Typically you get tested for other causes of your symptoms first, which you have been. If they don't find a cause of your pain that can show up on a test, then it's appropriate to start looking at other causes of chronic pain like fibromyalgia or even depression. Fibromyalgia is diagnosed when you meet the established diagnostic criteria- the primary one of which is "widespread pain throughout your body for at least three months."

  26. Yes this all of this!! I have complex regional pain syndrome (VERY SIMILAR to fibromyalgia but only one section of my body).

  27. Yes sir I’ll find a few and post a pic. Work place loves us. And yea I’m in Louisiana.🤣

  28. My husband is from the south near the Louisiana border and I had to relearn how to cook. Tony’s and hot sauce goes on nearly everything in our house 😂🤣

  29. My kiddo is almost 3 and we have only one storage container of Christmas decorations.

  30. I would also include that you have iron clad legal documents regarding the care of your child if something were to happen to both parents! Please do this!!!

  31. It was a happenstance! I just so happened to be talking to one of the nice ladies in the store I went to and mentioned that it was my favorite scent and she found an old bottle from the a private party there store had back in January and offered it to me!

  32. Tbh him screaming was a good sign. Silence is worse. Accidents happen.

  33. Same! I watched it with my uncle (who was late 40s at the time) and we both really enjoyed it.

  34. My parents still turn it on when kiddo and I are around; we all still laugh at it :)

  35. Anybody who‘s around the age of 14-17 but loves bluey ?? I can‘t be the only one here!! I always watch it with my little sister

  36. Not in that age bracket but I was that way with Phineas & Ferb. No judgment here!

  37. This shouldn’t happen in a public school. Yikes

  38. I am pretty sure people can still go to assist you, they just have to go get permission and go through TSA. I know for sure it's allowed to help children, elderly, and people with disabilities. It's worth finding out if the airports you're going to will allow it!

  39. We travel extensively with food allergies and just take our own food. I make sandwiches, we take crackers, dried fruits, homemade muffins, rice krispie squares, cut up veggies.

  40. Good point! We’re only traveling within the US this time. I’ll definitely keep that info locked away in my brain for in the future though

  41. You can also bring an empty water bottle with you and fill it up after security.

  42. Thank you for the reminder! :) we always travel with our reusable water bottles!

  43. We took everything out of my sons bedroom. Save it be a few items. He was a tornado and destroying anything left there.

  44. Yep this is key. My husband and I both have ADHD and our bedroom is VERY minimal by choice. Kiddo’s room is the same but he has a few toys so that he can play if he wakes up before mom and dad in the morning . Also, this reminds me I need to tidy
