  1. Lmfao I’m so young this reminds me of the sushi episode from drake and josh

  2. He makes incredibly regular appearances on CNN. Like, everyday, frequently multiple times a day, regular. That's enough to get a decent chunk of certain groups to utterly despise him I suppose.

  3. The previous owners had the house renovated once, but I do plan on having it tested regardless.

  4. If after getting tested, if it turns out it's not asbestos, do yourself a huge favor and just tear down the ceiling and have some guys hang new drywall, then paint it yourself. I found out my ceilings weren't popcorn ceilings, but were "stomped", which is basically a textured roller dipped in spackle and rolled onto the ceiling. I tried every method I could find to get it off and I still had to float the ceilings with mud and sand constantly for pretty subpar results in bad lighting. I'm poor as fuck so I figured it was worth the savings but after doing around 1500sq ft I realized that it wasn't really possible to get the result I wanted even being meticulous and I was just destroying my neck and shoulders doing the scraping and spackling for hours on end.

  5. The Devil's Candy was absolute hot garbage and it baffles me why it gets so much praise.

  6. I'm trying to stick to my guns and only upvote takes I disagree with in this thread, but this one gets me. I watched it before even hearing about it here and don't get the hype. Completely forgettable film at best.

  7. Just got back from my second Pfizer dose! Include me in the screenshot, Jeff Zients!

  8. They are hand made Moroccan field tile fired in a wood fueled kiln. Each is slightly different and they have a bit of a pearlescent sheen. You set them with no spacers or grout in between. My absolute favorite thing in my kitchen.

  9. Thanks for the context. I noticed the gold faucet and outlet cover and the inset sink with wood countertop and it was driving me nuts thinking all that fancy work was ruined by a donked up backsplash job. Not my cup of tea but as long as it's deliberate I can respect it.

  10. The Shining has been out of theaters for like forty years. If someone hasn't seen it by this point, maybe they deserve this spoiler.

  11. I just recently got to a point where I was in a financial position to buy myself a switch and BOTW. There’s lots of people still playing this for the first time.

  12. Now I feel bad. My joke about the hedge maze from the movie "The Shining" has nothing to do with this part of BOTW. Also I totally suggest not looking at anything from this sub until you've gotten bored with the game. That will probably take a super long time, but trust me, it's sooo worth it to experience as much as you can blind.

  13. Between this and Psycho Goreman I’ve quickly learned that contemporary, schlocky 80s puppets do not do it for me.

  14. I tried to watch Psycho Goreman last week and only got to the alien roundtable...thing before turning it off. Too try-hard with terrible costumes/puppetry for me. Totally enjoyed Willy's Wonderland though.

  15. It depends really - good zoos are the best life a wild animal is going to get. The idea of living in the wild only sounds nice because you camp with enough food and water. Being a wild animal actually kinda sucks. Cold nights, hot days, rain and snow. You’re crawling with parasites, both internal and external. Every time you’re hungry you have to find food, every time you’re thirsty you have to travel to water, all the while exposing yourself to predators who want to literally eat you alive. Any injury and illness isn’t just untreated, you don’t even get to take an aspirin. There’s a reason animals rarely live 1/3 of their possible lifespans in the wild. Life is hard and a painful death is not only guaranteed, it’s never far away. Now of course this only applies to good animals and sanctuaries. Bad zoos are torturous but good ones who focus on mental stimulation and enrichment is about as laid back as an animal would find. It’s like living your whole life in a retirement community. Boring but safe.

  16. All that said, if we anthropomorphize a bit, then yeah, it's a more comfortable, safe life. But is it a better life for an animal that probably relies on their natural habitat and inherit instincts to be happy? I'm not saying that conservation efforts for endangered animals or injured/orphaned animals don't benefit from being kept safe in an artificial zoo setting, but I am saying that the breasts are good.

  17. sometimes i wonder where people like this guy live where they have dogs that roll around in cow shit. i have to drive at least 30 minutes to find a cow and i live in the middle of nowhere in a ranching state.

  18. This is the comment. This is the comment that made me realize how rural I'm living. I can drive in any direction within a 3 mile radius and go yell at 6 different groups of cows. These cows are like, a few thousand feet apart, and they've never even fucking met eachother.

  19. Can never make my fried rice this golden shade

  20. As an avid copycat recipe guy, I can definitively tell you it's just yellow food coloring. I've tried all of the other suggestions you see here, but it is definitely just food coloring in white long grain rice.

  21. Also in PA you can bring your ballot you received in the mail to your normal poling location on election day if you decide you want to vote in person instead. I'm doing this because I live in a battleground county and want to have my vote recorded on election night.
