  1. Site and my browser don't seem to get along, but am I supposed to believe it was able to cut through the atmosphere, burst through the roof, only to be stopped by her pillow?

  2. I'm pretty sure when meteors are lit up in the atmosphere it's due to extreme heat. Lucky she's got some cooling sheets on her bed that quickly dissipated all that heat.

  3. Sometimes you can research the line or contact the company who makes them to find the recommended injection rates and pressure depending on the type of contrast. IV location depends on your site. I've worked places that allow injecting CT contrast at 4 mL/s in the patient's wrist, and others that mandate a 20 gauge within one inch of the AC. One other note about using power ports is to verify that BOTH the port and the line that is accessing the port are appropriately pressure rated

  4. The elbow is approximately level with the iliac crest. Wrists are approximately level with the pubic symphysis (even on larger patients). Check it out on yourself!

  5. Exactly this. Also, get as much hands-on experience as you can. Even the patients that seem overly big a lot of times you can "press" on them a little harder to find their bones.

  6. There is no resource like that. MRI is usually a specialised tool to pinpoint a diagnosis, not a general screening machine, with few exception. As such contrast depends on indication. I would say that majority of the more worrisome diagnoses need contrast.

  7. As an MRI tech I appreciate the subtlety of the last sentence.

  8. You should format it and start over. Mine was so badly corrupted I had to boot to Linux on a thumb drive to do it. Thankfully a lot of the files were still there and I was able to back up most of it before formatting

  9. Three one on the left is part of a project cake "chaos" by kaldarasha. The one on the right doesn't have a name but was created by apz.

  10. CEZ3 says:

You must first sell your Vanguard mutual fund for "cash" into a settlement account. Only then can you use the "cash" to buy an ETF.

  11. This is the correct answer, just had to do this a few months back myself

  12. Do you still have the link to where you got it? I cant find a link to the port to save my life lmao

  13. I believe there is a 1.5 port, but it crashes on the tester fight. The 1.4.3 port is fully playable

  14. I read somewhere that getting covid you then have a better immunity from getting it again vs the vaccine.

  15. It's actually the other way around. However, there were some studies showing that having the antibodies and only one vaccine was just as effective as getting both vaccines

  16. My friends and I one time made a primitive technology/Native American crew in high school. The group would come up with a name for each member. Because I was strong and given the “job” to move logs, they called me “logmover.” My family thinks it has some poop/sex connotation; it doesn’t.

  17. The summer camp I went to had a native american name. My friend and I assigned ourselves names to better enjoy the experience

  18. Eventually Payne will use the trust he gained to get you to paperhand at some point.

  19. I've watched enough MSM to know none of them are on our side. They are on the side of making money for the company and protecting the interests of the 1% with very few exceptions.

  20. I've rotated through a lot of hospitals and clinics and I've never done an oblique knee. That's a thing?

  21. Routine at my hospital is AP, lateral, external oblique, internal oblique

  22. We need to be considerate of new apes. Some people newer into this, unconditioned to extreme volatility, may flee here with their concerns in search of answers.

  23. Thank you for this comment. I'm pretty new here buying in at $270 a day or two ago. I plan to hodl no matter the price, but it's posts like these that remind me it's the right thing to do.

  24. Passing a registry no longer counts, but the school work and classes can count.

  25. Download the botw save editor on your PC. Use checkpoint on your switch to export and import your save file. Should get you close to what you want

  26. I might. I am just a student so need to think how to best put it together. I don't know what modalities applies to MRI. But I guess I can always edit and we can build it together based on needs :)

  27. You can always have different modalities in different channels

  28. I never played the original and wasn’t confused at all. Did I miss something?

  29. The story has a lot more layers if you're familiar with the original and the FF7 compilation.

  30. If the piece you ingested was less than an inch wide or in length, it will be completely fine, it won't pull or heat up. Perhaps a slight chance that an electrical current could be induced, but very unlikely. Chances are the tech will just tell you to squeeze the panic ball if you feel like something is wrong. Each facility and tech can be different though, so probably best that you call ahead and ask them.

  31. How common is this? A few years back had a young gentleman shot in the right axilla and the bullet ended up perfectly between L1 and L2

  32. I record it. Too many cases of nurses putting a gadolinium allergy as iodine or vice versa

  33. Any MRI authorities here who can tell me if metal posts in my jaw for dental implants prevent me from getting an MRI? I don't want them to rip out.

  34. I'm an MRI tech with MRSO credentials. You will be completely fine to have any MRI 3T or less unless your dental work was done in a third world country

  35. Thanks. One more question please. My right foot has two titanium plates top and bottom and 5 titanium posts in my toes. Am I still OK?

  36. Without going into too much detail, yes you'll be ok. There's really no reason to be concerned over any screws, plates, or pins. You should still inform the technologist performing your exam because there may be a few changes they need to make, or rules to follow, but it's very routine to scan patients that have various orthopedic implants like yours.

  37. No abnormalities means nothing abnormal. You're better off discussing results with your ordering physician though

  38. Why are they fucking up an MRI machine?

  39. It's likely been decommissioned and will be replaced

  40. Mine were sunburnt because the guy across from me didn't have his curtain closed and his arcs were reflecting from inside my helmet
