I’m not talking about the basketball player specifically, I just mean the political atmosphere surrounding cannabis in general. It’s inescapable, This Russia situation is just a glaring example of the US’s blatant hypocrisy on the issue. It’s fine if we lock people up for weed, but if Russia does it it’s a human rights violation.

  9. And I am not against it! I use raw sugar as my sweeter of choice, or honey if I don't have it around. But I am not comfortable saying my relatives to go back to sugar. My point is, if not even doctors know what is what, how can we know how much is enough? I am trying to put myself in their shoes, they are already cutting out pastries, desserts, bread, fruits, even starches and legumes with high levels of fructose, their coffee is probably the only think they still enjoy, so I feel that taking only one cup everyday is taking away more than they already removed. I know, happiness shouldn't be food, but they are making progress and I know is hard for them, so taking more, I don't know... I agree, moderation is the rule to follow, but they need to keep going... I think I am frustrated, that's all...

I wonder if erythritol and monk fruit have the same issues...I remember some years ago, stevia was the miracle substitute, and now everybody is saying the same about those...having diabetic relatives that use them for coffee every day, now I don't know what to think about the whole thing. They are on a low-carb diet, and coffee is where they find comfort after all the restrictions. And of course, they drink 3-4 cups per day, so switching back to raw sugar would be a no-no thing... My point is, and please bear with my frustration and confusion, why aren't medical authorities more involved in approvals? and I am not talking about politics, just regular doctors asking for more research. At the end of the day, they are the ones making recommendations for healthy options for people under circumstances that require food restrictions...

  14. I’ve been off meds for three years. I still have ups and downs but mild enough they don’t ruin my life to any measurable extent. A healthy diet, exercise, and most importantly A CONSISTENT SLEEP SCHEDULE. No need to get crazy. Try to eat some vegetables a few times a day, make sure you still eat your favorite foods every once in a while, it’s mentally healthy to reward yourself. Exercise is also simple, find something you and enjoy and make sure you get a solid sweat going 2-3 times a week. You don’t need to be a champion strength competitor or a fitness model to lead a healthy life. The sleep schedule thing was definitely the hardest for me but man oh man let me tell you what, it makes all the difference. I eventually locked down an 11-7 and I make that my top priority. Believe in yourself 💪💪💪
