Artificial scarcity is what keeps the rich, rich, and the poor, poor. That’s why the donor class is fighting tooth and nail against civil rights, student’s rights, worker’s rights, renter’s rights, universal healthcare, and everything else. They know that all scarcity is built-in to the system and runs on antiquated COBOL in a mainframe in a dusty closet.

On the cusp of the age of widespread digital and robotic automation technology, I don't recommend pushing your luck on holding out for higher wages.
