While the entire country (except occupied Crimea) is currently sheltering from russian missiles, let's not forget about the poor russians themselves who cannot get visas to go to Europe for a holiday. My heart bleeds for them.

  1. I'm sure the oligarchs will be very distressed when they have to use their Cypriot/Maltese passport from now on.

  2. Are they going to Europe to enjoy cultural activities or to spy, foment anti Ukranian sentiment and hide their assets?

  3. A good way of filtering imo would be to have all Russian immigrants be required to give up their Russian citizenship.

  4. I have a better idea. Russians stay in Russia and take care of their own government. It's better than expecting the rest of the world to do it for them.

  5. Still have to disagree. Most "opposition" russians aren't against putin out of sympathy towards Ukrainians, but out of hatred for his theft of money from russia. navalny, the most famous russian "oppositionist", is infamous for his past anti-Georgian and anti-Ukrainian statements, in the case of ovsyannikova, she had been putin's propagandist from 2003 until her sudden "change of opinion" in 2022, etc. As Ukrainians say, "the russian liberal ends at the question of (the border of) Ukraine."
