Xbox One S internal PSU is making clicking noise and the Xbox won’t turn on, repair or replace the PSU?

  1. Best and easiest to just replace it. Microsoft uses so much of thermal or vibration adhesive it's a pain. You could end up causingore damage. Not to mention if your not ise to working with psu or high voltages you can seriously injure if not kill yourself. Some of them caps have up to 450 volts in them.

  2. If you are just getting started with electronics repair, messing with a PSU is a good way to get yourself killed and I do not advise it. They hold enough charge days after being unplugged with enough of a current punch to send you backwards out of your chair, possibly stop your heart. Get a new one. Your life or health is worth more than the $20 for a new PSU.
