Dalit family replaces Hindu Gods with Ambedkar and Buddha after being fined Rs 60,000 for entering temple and touching idol

  1. There isn't a fine for entering but from what I know nobody apart from the priests are allowed to enter the inner most part of the temples where the idols are placed. The kid entered this place and tried to carry the idol on his head, which was apparently getting prepped for a procession.

  2. I have a question for fellow atheists, why do we gotta treat other people's delusions with respect when those same delusions are responsible many a suffering for them and people around them?

  3. Same people again: "we don't want you to convert them to other religions" Like they need the dalits discriminated against to feel better about their pathetic selves

  4. Keep protecting your Gods hindus from the touch of a fellow human being, and you shall be a thing of the past !

  5. Nobody stopped them from worshipping. The kid touched a Utsava Vigraham... So the priest chided them and told them to be careful. Nobody is supposed to touch the Vigraham. Not even some of the priests themselves. The local goons took advantage of the situation and asked them 60000 on behalf of the temple... That's what happened. I guess Jai Bhim and Jai Mim is the additional propaganda component attached to the article by the Siasat Daily... Shame that the so called haters of Hindutva failed to even see through this lie..

  6. Never understand how right wing will hate on people getting converted to different religion but would love to do stuff like this. Jai bhim by the way. At least he did do some good

  7. This reminds me of the meme where the guy shoots another and says why he's dead. So the right wing first pushes people to the cusp of conversion and when they finally do so, the RW cries and calls them names like "rice bag".

  8. Nobody stopped them from worshipping. The kid touched a Utsava Vigraham... So the priest chided them and told them to be careful. Nobody is supposed to touch the Vigraham. 9. These BJP and RSS choots will cry about Hindu conversions, but wouldn't let lower caste people worship the Hindu gods. what the fuck are they even thinking?

  10. Nobody stopped them from worshipping. The kid touched a Utsava Vigraham... So the priest chided them and told them to be careful. Nobody is supposed to touch the Vigraham. 11. I have a friend who's ST and I'm a Brahmin. We were having a conversation regarding the reservation. She said there should be no reservation while I was supporting the reservation. Bot ironic laga mujhe 😂

  12. There needs to be an effort to build a better system for uplifting them. The current reservation system doesn't work and 75 years of evidence show it. The underprivileged remains underprivileged and the privileged keeps arguing whether reservation should be there or not.

  13. Everyone is equal in front of God. Why the discrimination. Hinduism does not propogate discrimination. If a person professing faith in a particular religion donates blood to save the life of a person from another religion is surely not going to change the status of the receipiants religion. Is it? Remember the poetic phrase' Secpter and crown will tumble down and in the dust be equal made'.

  14. Caste system is a part of Hinduism - the claim that everyone is "equal in front of God" goes against the basic principles of Hinduism. Modern Hindus may reject it (and they should) but to pretend it never was true is just denial and lies.

  15. You are talking like there are only extremists in one religion. Every religion has use its name for violence. And why just talk about Lanka or Myanmar and not about whole asian subcontinent like Japan, Korean or Singapore?

  16. unlike north india , in south india ur not allowed to enter main sanctum or touch the idols !! Know the culture difference first before u dumb fucks go parading comments!!

  17. Now show us examples of brahmin kids being fined similar amounts for similar actions. Surely, this is not the first time ever that a kid has entered a garbhagriha of a temple against the regulations, and there must have been at least one such brahmin kid getting fined in the last couple of decades in the whole country for you to find on the Internet.

  18. Converting to islam would be like coming out of one gutter-hole and falling into a deeper gutter-hole !

  19. It's funny how most are still in denial that this kind of persecution still happens in today's society and want to get rid of quotas.

  21. So you changed your belief because some people discriminated against you my point is why you were even following a religion if you can change just because some people from that religion discriminated against you ? Is it the god or the validation you were seeking for ? Buddha does no help anyways buddhism from core has shared heritage from where hinduism evolved

  22. Puri Jagannath temple (one of the four dhams), prohibits all outside of Hindu religion entering their premises. I mean WTF. Makes me sick at the gut
