  1. In most states there are no restrictions to building your own firearm aside from it cannot violate the NFA/GCA, and it cannot be built with the intent to sell. One built for personal use can be sold in most states in the same way you would any other firearm.

  2. Maybe not easier, as one of those pistols appears to be missing the trigger. I wonder if he was too cheap to buy the lower receiver parts, or too stupid to install them.

  3. Because there’s no reason to have one unless your either into geeking out on 3d printing or can’t buy one yourself. Not saying they should be banned, home made firearms have been a thing for a long time hell my mom built my dad a shotgun out of a sears catalog.
